Royal Commission Into Child Sexual Abuse Website

The Royal Commission into Child Sexual Abuse has a website that makes the issue look like a mental health issue.  There are a number of national telephone numbers but there are no sexual assault services listed.  Hopefully this is an oversight that will be addressed.  If it is not an oversight it demonstrates a woeful lack of understanding about the complexity of childhood sexual assault.  Victims need to be able to access specialist sexual assault services.  They are not all in need of psychiatric intervention.  They are not all depressed.  Many of them are angry and distress.
All the Victorian Centres Against Sexual Assault have had an increase in telephone calls and referrals due to the constant publicity triggering many people, not all victims of institutional abuse, into needing to discuss their issues.
